TO COMPUTE™
WHAT IS CAMERA TO COMPUTE™
Camera to Compute is the operational layer between the camera and the cloud. It owns timing, colour, I/O, tracking, and rights data on set. Delivered as Integrated Camera Systems (ICS). We rent it. We crew it. We make it accountable.
WHY IT MATTERS
Pictures are only “real-time” if time, colour, and data agree. Camera to Compute keeps everything in lock from your footage, to your VFX, 3d sets, and even audio. It reduces latency, stabilises colour, preserves sync, and writes provenance at capture. Your director sees the shot. Editorial inherits clean structured data. Post gets ground truth, not guesses.
WHAT WE DELIVER
Integrated Camera Systems Cinema and Broadcast families for R3D and RAW ingest, RED Connect, IP video, and Cine-Broadcast Module workflows. SDI and ST 2110. PTP aware.
Simulcam Real-time comp you can shoot against, with operator tools and recovery drills. Ops Crewed delivery, spares, SLAs, and runbooks. .DAVE Rights and provenance written at source, visible in dailies and turnovers.
HOW IT WORKS ON-SET
Cameras feed 12G-SDI or ST 2110 into our CCU. We lock timecode, genlock, and PTP. GPU nodes handle debayer, colour management, key/composite, and monitoring. Tracking, lens, and stage data ride in the pipe. .DAVE stamps authorship and licence terms as the first link in your chain of custody for delivery to AI post and intelligent systems.
NOT CAMERA TO CLOUD
Camera to Cloud moves files.
Camera to Compute runs the live pipeline that makes those files reliable.
Use both. Don’t mistake one for the other.
STANDARDS
R3D, RED Connect, Cine-Broadcast Module. 12G-SDI, ST 2110, PTP.
ACES, OCIO, Unreal Engine, .DAVE.
AJA and other pro I/O where appropriate.
If a show needs it, we integrate it.
PROOF & MEASUREMENT
We publish latency budgets, PTP lock times, failure modes, and swap procedures per show.
You get repeatable numbers, not anecdotes.
